Demand Analysis: will this idea sell?

Ask the market before you build your product; get a sourced report and a draft product in one click.

Updated: October 2, 2026

Product › Demand Analysis is where you test a course, ebook, or program idea before you start building it. You describe your idea; within a few minutes the system collects data from the web, and AI Coach writes an assessment based on that data.

Starting an analysis

  1. In the Describe your idea box, explain in a sentence or two whom you'll teach and what (e.g., “An online course teaching new moms how to build a baby sleep routine”).
  2. If you like, click Add details: your target audience and a 2–4 word search phrase people would search for (e.g., “baby sleep training”). If you leave the search phrase empty, it's derived from your idea.
  3. Click Start analysis. Your first analysis is free. Each analysis after that costs 10 add-on credits and can only use add-on credits (from a credit pack you bought); the credits that come with your plan each month aren't used for this. You buy add-on credit packs from My Features. If data can't be collected or the report can't be written, your free analysis or your credits are returned. One analysis runs at a time.

An analysis usually takes 2–6 minutes; you can leave the page, the analysis keeps running in the background and shows up in the Your analyses list.

Where does the data come from?

SourceWhat's checked
GooglePages on the topic, the number of advertisers, “People also ask” questions
Udemy and AmazonCourses and books on the same topic (via Google search), the prices shown
YouTubeVideos on the topic and their view counts
Instagram and TikTokPosts under the topic's hashtag and their engagement
Bilgi TicaretiThe price range of similar products on the platform — only as a total across at least 5 different schools, without naming any school or product

Reading the report

  • Verdict: Strong / Moderate / Weak signal, or Not enough data. If few sources were found, the verdict is always “Not enough data.”
  • Demand signals, Competitors, Risks: the badge next to each sentence (Y2, U1…) is the source it's based on; click it to open that source in the Sources tab.
  • No made-up numbers: every number in the report appears word for word in a source. Statements not backed by a source are removed from the report automatically, and the report says how many were removed. If a competitor's price can't be found, it says “no data.”
  • Search demand (how many people search for it each month) can't be measured right now; it shows as “no data” in the report.

Turning it into a draft

The Suggested first offer section has two buttons:

  • Create course draft (free): an unpublished course opens with the suggested title and sections; in Courses you fill in the lessons, set the price, and publish.
  • Create ebook plan (13 credits, writing included): the chapter plan opens in Studio › Ebook Builder; you have the book written from there.

If you ask for a draft from the same analysis a second time, no new one is created; you're taken to the first draft.

Who can use it?Every plan; the first analysis is free, after that 10 add-on credits per analysis. A school can start up to 30 analyses a month; if an analysis fails, the credits (or the free analysis) come back. On a team, instructors and co-hosts can start analyses; support and moderators can't see it.
