Legal pages for your customers
The six legal pages the Platform creates on your behalf and how to use them.
1. Why they are needed
When you make sales on your site, you are the seller and the data controller toward your customers. In distance sales, the preliminary information and contract texts must be accepted by the customer, and under KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) a privacy notice must also be provided.
2. Automatically created pages
- KVKK Privacy Notice (
/kvkk) - Privacy Policy (
/gizlilik-politikasi) - Distance Sales Agreement (
/mesafeli-satis-sozlesmesi) - Preliminary Information Form (
/on-bilgilendirme-formu) - Cancellation and Refund Policy (
/iptal-iade-politikasi) - Terms of Use (
/kullanim-sartlari)
These texts contain the information you entered in Settings › Legal as the seller; Bilgi Ticareti is stated as the “intermediary service provider.”
3. Consent checkboxes
On sign-up, webinar, ebook and appointment forms, acceptance of the privacy notice is mandatory and consent to commercial messages is optional. At the checkout box, the distance sales agreement and the preliminary information form are accepted. Consents are recorded with their date and time.
4. What you need to do
- Enter your Settings › Legal information completely and accurately.
- Review the cancellation and refund terms for your own sales model (live training, one-on-one sessions and digital content may be subject to different rules).
- If you use tracking code, keep the cookie notice up to date.
- Have the texts checked by a lawyer.
